2025 Academic Year Short Course Review 「Geometry of Space」

From 19 to 23 May, the course "Geometry of Space" was delivered by the artist Adam Williamson in KFSTA China Centre, Suzhou.

Tutor Adam Williamson has demonstrated regular and semi-regular polyhedra through geometric sketching and constructing models with sticks and strings.

Through learning the basic elements of the space dimen-sion: point, line, plane and solid, students can gradually understand the rules of 3D design and learn to apply it in practice.

1. Constructing 3D models with wooden sticks and strings 
2. 3D Origami Practice 
3. Structural Weaving with Paper Cord 
4. Building Expansive 3D Artworks

The final day of the course was held in the Suzhou Jiayuan Hall. Adam Williamson has guided the students to build various 3D models using bamboo as material.
