Located in the western outskirt of Shanghai, Jinze is a tranquil ancient town with a history of over 1,300 years. Jin Ze Arts Centre is an independent art and craft organization, aiming at the preservation and promotion of the fine tradition of Chinese craftsmanship. In 2012, Jinze Arts Centre hosted PFSTA for a ten-day geometry workshop. After its inauguration, China Centre will establish further cooperation with Jinze Arts Centre, including a course titled Cosmic Body: Principles of the Buddhist Figure, a collaboration with the Rangbala Jonang Intangible Cultural Heritage Learning Centre.
